Editorial Policy and Instructions to Contributors

Journal of School of Education, is a bi-annual Journal (July & December Editions) published by the School of General Education, Kwara State College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi, Nigeria. The goal of the Journal is to promote multidisciplinary research in the field of General Education, Language Education, Science Education as well as Vocation and Technical Education by publishing original and scholarly articles in the following areas:

  • Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology

  • Educational Administration and Planning
  • Educational Guidance and Counseling

  • Educational Research and Evaluation

INSTRUCTIONS TO CONTRIBUTORS 

  1. Journal of School of Education accepts only original (empirical and theoretical) articles in the areas of General Education, Language Education, Science Education as well as Vocation and Technical Education, which should be free from plagiarism in part or entirely           
  2. Journal of School of Education is published in English Language. Manuscripts should include author’s (s’) name, contact address, institutional affiliation, email address and mobile telephone number(s) on the title page.Manuscripts should be in MS Word document using Times New Romans with font size 12
  3. Abstract should not exceed 200 words including 4-5 keywords. Authors are to ensure that the article(s) submitted to Journal of School of Education are not being considered for publication elsewhere
  4. Manuscripts should be typed with double line spacing not exceeding 15 pages on one –side of A-4 size paper including all tables, appendices, notes, acknowledgement and references
  5. References should be written in American Psychological Association (APA) publication style (Sixth Edition)
  6. Each article will undergo vigorous blind peer-review by at least two experts in relevant field
  7. Only the accepted paper will be published
  8. Submission of an article is to be accompanied with a non-refundable assessment fee of three thousand naira (N3, 000.00) or 30 US Dollar
  9. Submission due dates for July and December editions are the 30th of April and 30th of September respectively
  10. The article(s) that does not follow the Journal of School of Education guidelines will be rejected
  11. Upon acceptance of an article, the author will be requested to pay N15, 000.00 or 80 US Dollar publication fee
